Depends what you're playing and which gen of Xbox 1 controller you're using. I found it felt improved on the newer revisions (post Bluetooth), and obviously on the Elite it's nice to me.

the Xbone controller d-pads do too, you're either using a third party piece of shit, or your first party controller is defective, which actually happens a lot.

when the controllers actually work right, they're among the best, imo
