I spent all of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day alone at my apartment. My roommate flew back home for the week so I have the place to myself, so I wanted to take advantage of that.

I had lunch with my family earlier but then promptly went back home. I feel like Im at my happiest when Im alone... is that weird?

Overall no unless that's all you do. Even then some people are probably fine that way.

I like a nice blend of being alone/social but I find it harder to find moments alone so I actually put more effort into that side. I'd have jumped on staying home all day too if it wouldn't cause waves with family

That's kinda how I am, in fact all day I was thinking about how just once I'd like to spend Christmas all by myself. Probably won't ever happen though, I've got too much family. It's funny because Christmas is also my birthday

Yeah this is what I feel like people mix up. Ive had so many family members reach out today saying you cant spend Christmas alone. And they just assumed Im depressed or lonely... no I just prefer this lol
