Not only did I finish the original movie trilogy, but I also finished watching the Star Wars Prequels.
Is it Safe for me to jump into the new Disney Trilogy? Or are there other Star Wars series that I *need* to watch, before going into the newer movies? ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's like the MCU. You can just watch the movies and you'll be good with following the story. The other stuff is there if you want more of it.

Definitely don't bother watching the cartoon series. TFA is just a reboot anyways.

Rogue One is the best. But yeah, you can watch in episodic order as well.
