I like how people adored Episode 7, now those same people are trying to say all 3 films blow chunks.

While the movies are a huge success by any metric, I'm sure they're disappointing to Disney because Solo flopping showed that they can't yet turn this into a MCU megahit (and China still doesn't like Star Wars).
The thing is I don't really think there's a direct link between Solo flopping and the questionable decisions made in the ST proper (though I know many would argue that point). So I don't think Disney is going to take home a lesson that will lead to better SW films in the future. We'll maybe see smaller side projects alongside blatant fanfic nostalgia bait for the main films. --- I have no idea whether or not he's a racist, but apparently there are recordings of him using racial slurs so it's a distinct possibility. ... Their spin-off films and series have actually had a better critic reception than the sequel trilogy, so they should just do more of that. Rogue One was good, Solo was surprisingly really good, and Mandalorian so far has been a great show.
