I had an old email account on my 360 account (note: when I was playing 360, I was something like 10-15 years old. Little kids make dumb emails and have to make new ones later). Trying to figure out the old email and password combination was the biggest pain possible. I just wanted to look at something I built in Minecraft when I was a kid because a friend of mine came over and we messed around in Minecraft on Switch for a while.
Minecraft wouldn't even load up the full version until I could log in to Xbox Live again, so I had to remember the passcode I set locally (which took a second but I got it) and then log in with an email and password after that. Eventually I realized the email attached to the account was my brother's email, so I had to reset the password on his account. Even after resetting the password (which required sending a verification code to his email), changing any other setting requires sending more verification codes to his email. Microsoft ain't messing around with account protection it seems lol, I just want to look at the shit I made in Minecraft when I was in middle school. Asking for a verification code after I already entered a verification code 30 seconds ago and after I already remembered my account's passcode on the console is quite a lot to ask. --- Got a brand new blues that I can't explain ...
