They feel too much like episodes of a TV show, in a weird way. Granted I haven't seen TROS yet, but TFA and TLJ just don't have the same sense of a self-enclosed consistent story that the OT and even the PT have. I dunno if I'm explaining this well... >_>

Yes, as I was watching TROS, I felt the same. Same with TLJ, as I've likened it to a run of the mill average Star Trek/Doctor Who episode.
However, I didn't feel this with TFA. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. - The Doctor ... Copied to Clipboard!
