My current job gave me a macbook air. Never really used a macbook before. It's similar to an iPhone in that it just works. I know tons of people who still have a nearly 10 year old macbook and it works just as well as the day they bought it. It's hard to say the same for any Windows based laptop. While I still enjoy Windows as an OS, having the same company make both the hardware and OS really seems to made a difference.
