it was a good movie. Will Smith did a great job basically carrying the entire thing himself. Even though he "just played Will Smith" like the meme goes, you could see his descent into losing his mind.

Will Smith is such an underrated actor. He can do literally any role. As good of an actor as he is in his light-hearted or comedy action movies like bad boys, men in black, independence day, he's better in pure dramas with no comedy. Lets also not forget that he starred in one of the greatest comedy shows of all time.

In this case, that horrible looking stinker where he's a spy that turns into a pigeon. People see trailers for that shit and think to themselves "Will Smith sure has fallen since..." and then they try to think of the last decent movie Will Smith made. Then they remember I Am Legend (since you have to keep going back to the late 90s to find anything remotely good, and I Am Legend is one of the big ones along the way) and remember how shitty it really was despite seeming okay at the time. --- Dielman on Rivers: "I've tried to get him to say s--- or f--- and all he'll ever do is say 'Golly gee, I can't do that" Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? ...
