I really don't know why they're hyping this as if a Snyder cut wouldn't be exponentially worse.

Because it had a different plot and set up and the one thing zack can do is make a pretty mess. So even if the script and tonal changes don't fix peoples problem with it, it would look better (assuming effects were completed which they wouldn't be)

The Ultimate Edition was good.

Granted, the whole Martha twist is stupid no matter how you slice it, and the climatic battle is still pretty bad. I mean, the enemy (Doomsday), just looks like a giant turd monster. Seriously, he looks like a giant pile of **** molded into a creature.

But the rest of the movie I think is entertaining. The warehouse and nightmare sequences are particular highlights for me, and I enjoyed the frequent good v evil themes and overt comparisons between Superman and Jesus etc. I liked the setting, Amy Adams was good as always, Laurence Fishburne was good as the newspaper boss, Jeremy Irons makes for a good Alfred, and Ben Afleck was very good as both Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Frankly, I liked it more than Justice League, which seemed like a bit of a train wreck and oh-so-predictable. JL just seemed so by-the-numbers.

Eh, to each their own I guess.

Yeah, I did enjoy a lot more in BvS than I did anything in JL except maybe Flash's effects. The warehouse Batman scene was straight out of Arkham and was better than any of the Bale fight scenes.

I think a Snyder Cut wouldn't be a bad idea to release later on closer to The Flash movie and Aquaman 2, which are a long ways off, so there's a lot of time left.

Also, Hans Zimmer absolutely killed it with the BvS soundtrack. Some of the tracks are straight up haunting like Luthor's.
