Figured I might ask this here since I'm sure some of you play Pokemon. How is the story for Gen 7?
I know, "lol Literally playing Pokemon for the story." :P I play for the gameplay, and I'm not into the competitive side, so I figured I might as well enjoy the story while I'm at it. Already bought Ultra Sun thinking the Ultra series was the better versions, and then I found out that the stories for SM and USUM are different from each other. Exactly how different are they? Did I get the short end of the stick? Haven't played a Pokemon game since Blue and Silver because it started to feel repetitive during gen 3, so I stopped for a long time. For as much as I love Pokmon, I haven't played the games since Diamond and Platinum in Gen IV. I'd kind of like to play some of the more recent ones but I have basically zero interest in Sword/Shield. And honestly I don't like a lot of the recent gimmicks like dynamax and z-moves.
