Zelda Breath of the Wild. Even though that game had a decent stealth system, the Yiga Clan Hideout was fucking awful. Easily the worst part of the game.

The first No One Lives forever had some brutal stealth levels. It was a FPS that didn't really give you the tools to sneak effectively, but if you got caught then the entire level would go on alert

But it did have a solid stealth system (solid enough), it just wouldnt let you use it outside of certain missions. Which I found very disappointing.

Also, platforming is probably a worse offender. You know, when it's an FPS or an RPG and there's the random platforming part and it's just the worst.

That's a good one. But if you did some of the bonus dungeons, that becomes very tolerable in comparison. Honestly, Im puzzled as to how I put 130 hours into the main game. That's 70 hours after beating it >_>. I just couldn't stop popping it in. I see all the glaring issues with it.

I remember in Uncharted 1 they introduce stealth kills early on but you can almost never actually use them throughout the rest of the game. For some reason I think about that a lot, like it's a completely ignored mechanic.

Or, if you somehow succeed, the game glitches out and refuses to even load the next area until you go shoot all the "eeee's over heeeer!" dudes in that big open area with lots of cover that you bypassed somehow.

I think combat levels in stealth games can be worse if done badly.
Like the metal gear solid series for the most part, though V made it a lot easier since you have actual combat weapons. Same with IV to an extent.

Seems like it's mostly there for a flashy first strike and for a couple of irritating VR missions.

Although, it makes a couple of places easier on the higher difficulties.

I liked the stealth in Spider-Man, assuming you're talking about Spider-Man PS4 or the first movie game, no comment on Amazing Spider-Man 1 or 2, though

Zelda games stealth isn't too bad. It's more like a very simple puzzle of "follow the guard", they don't really walk from their routes since from what I know, none of the games have a sound mechanic in the stealth sections

Came in to say this game. I could never do it and it would piss me off cause dude over the codec would give raiden shit about how he was supposed to be good at stealth. It was a specific mission and they wanted you to do this part stealthily as otherwise an alarm goes off and you end up fighting a lot more people as a result
