....I had no idea for the longest time that you could go down multiple paths in Star Fox 64 as a kid. When it randomly happened one time I remember just sitting there, mind blown, as a kid...I was experiencing this brand new side to a game I had played for soooooo long that I never knew existed. I dont think Im curious enough to find secrets on my own.

But im impressed with the people that found the Easter eggs in shadow of the colossus. Uncovered an entirely new room with a secret weapon after literally a decade of searching and studying stuff within the game

Dunno if it's the same thing I'm thinking of, but I think that was something entirely new added in the PS4 version, inspired by the secret-hunting community for the game.

Legit didn't know about this until the internet age, despite having a NES as a kid. Neither me nor my friends ever read about it in a magazine or anything.

Really? Because I thought they found it in the original PS2 version. The room with a sword right

in MGS: TTS, when you fight Ocelot, you can lay down a Playboy magazine, and he stops to look at it, and let's out a whistle. you can get off a few shots in that way.

the fight is already super easy, especially because you can enter first-person mode, but I thought that it was pretty funny.

The first thing that came to mind was the crazy level skip warps in DKC2. Found out about them by watching speedruns.

Lol nice, I didn't know that and I consider myself of knower of MGS.

There is a ton of easter eggs in the series, one of the funniest imo is in MGS2 you can use the directional mic and hear johnny taking a shit at several points in the game. Its always a violent one.

He reappears in MGS4 and was playable in the multiplayer. If you got three kills without dying, he would stop w/e hes doing and dookie on the spot lol. Even funnier, other players would choke on the smell if they got too close

I believe so. I looked up "secret sword" for Shadow of the Colossus on Youtube and only got the PS4 version.
