And I've never been in a relationship, I've never really been attracted to a girl either except for one time, and it didn't work out. I'm kinda worried I'll never find a partner. And, I guess I kinda have high standards too, because I'd want her to be a virgin like me. That's basically the only qualm I have, otherwise I don't really have a type. I've turned down a few girls who I knew weren't virgins, because I feel like they wouldn't value that special moment the same as I would. Then if we broke up, I'd have to spend my entire life not being able to get that back. Am I being too pretentious and picky? Im worried because I don't know if I'll ever find another girl I'm attracted to, and that she'd like me back, AND that she'd be a virgin. Got any advice guys/gals?

Yeah, I'd have to agree haha, but what if after the fact, she left. Then I'm just left twisting in the wind because I wasn't good? (Also, top tier response, that actually made me feel a lot better!)

There's an extremely high chance that the person you share your first time with won't be the only girl. Don't put all these restrictions on your love life. Relationships are hard enough as it is without you making them harder. Sure, wait for a long term gf to share that first time with but don't refuse to date someone just because they aren't virgins. There will be heartbreak in your life. There's no way around it.

I can share a similar story TC, it might make you feel better.

Me and my current girlfriend dated in high school. We were each others first. We broke up shortly before college, and i dated another girl for two years. Me and my high school ex then started dating again. It was a little hard for me to get over the fact that she had been with a few other guys other than me, while i had only been with one other person. And it wasn't like she dated them, she had just been fooling around with them in a very casual sense. It took me a while, but i just had to accept that she had a life after me, and had been with other people. There was nothing either of us could do about it, and we both knew she hadn't done anything wrong, which means it was up to me to get over it. It wasn't her job to make me feel better.

We can't change people's past actions, even if she regretted it, it doesn't matter, we are all just trying to live our lives.

First time doing something you really like is special. I got up and jumped the first time I won a match online in SSF2THDR. This sounds lame, but most of the people playing that game online had been playing SF2 for a decade or so. There was no leeway, no starter rank.

First of all, forget about the virgin thing. Not important. Second, you say you've never been attracted to a girl. Are you into guys? Third, losing your virginity isn't as big a deal as you think it is. The odds are stacked against you marrying this chick and you'll forget about it after the second girl you're with.
