There are so many things wrong with arming teachers and yet I have seen a lot of people push for the policy.

Is there something even worse people have seriously pushed for in recent years?

Oh JImmy and his friends just smashed your face against the locker for the 5th time today? Oh what's that, they're holding you down and stomping on you? You want to try to push them away? haha no you little fucker, you get suspended for fighting back!

Dumbest ever? No. Astoundingly stupid? Yes.

Zero tolerance is dumber since it's essentially "We can't be bothered to do our job so fuck you if you ever defend yourself".

But this is pretty damn close.

its the status quo. its good as is and arming teachers is the easiest way to keep it the way it is tbh.

parents are weekend caretakers. during the weekdays its the teachers.
