Haven't actually played the game yet but that's kind of a weird take for Zero Punctuation. Or maybe it's more a case of the state of Star Wars games since 2006 than it is a Dark Souls type adventure game being decent.

Orrrrrrr most "AAA" games are trash I guess.

If this is the height of AAA Star Wars games then that's lame. The game is good but the Star Wars games of the past are still leagues above it.

Funny I watched both that and the Girlfriend Reviews of Fallen Order and GR reviewed it far more harshly than Yahtzee did. Never thought I'd see the day.

It's a 10/10 Star Wars game, a 7/10 for the rest of it. The combat is a bit like Dark Souls/Sekiro but nowhere near as fluid as either one. The traversal is like Uncharted but can also be a bit janky when wall running and jumping, you'll fall...a lot.

It can be hard, not in a Souls hard way, but more of a cheap kinda fashion. If I die in Souls/Sekiro/Bloodborne then I can see how I fucked up and it doesn't feel cheap. In Fallen Order on a lot of my deaths I was like WTF.

It's not perfect but maybe if a sequel comes out they can iron out the kinks. It does things just good enough gameplay wise to not kneecap the whole experience. As a Star Wars game it's the best one I've played since KOTOR.
