What are some points where you stopped enjoying games and just dropped them?

For me it was in Valkyria Chronicles 1 where you have to fight that stupid overpowered tank and the person with the super strong lance or whatever. The level was obnoxious and unintuitive

Every time I resolve to play FFIX, I always stop right before Memoria. Every time.

I try once or twice a year to finish the Inaba Culture Exhibit in Persona Q, but I just can't. I like Persona Q, but it's a huge brick wall.

As much as I love Dark Souls, I commonly lose interest in most runs after O&S.

The witcher 3 right after you have to pay a ship owner to travel across the sea.

I'm under leveled and completed the side quests I could while I have a few quests that are way above my current level. Why this game teases you with new quests that you shouldn't have access to is beyond me I dropped the game after repeated attempts to play it.

I've lost interest and stopped playing nearly every JRPG I've played. There's so many I love, but just don't enjoy them as much towards the end.

Yeah it's essentially a straight line and can be cleared in 20-30 minutes easily.

I actually stopped in VC1 at the same point as TC.

Yeah, I was enjoying the 'military combat' theme, so when it turned into "fighting overpowered anime shit with ridiculous mechanics" I lost all interest.

i can't think of any specific examples of the top of my head, but i know there have been times where i've just finished a session on a game and thought to myself "i better not forget about this" and then proceeded to completely forget about it

MGSV - I can't think of the exact point, but it's wherever it became apparent that I would be doing the same missions over and over again to progress.

I do it a lot on games I'm replaying. I just drop games like 1/2 through...or whatever

I don't, not in any games I actually enjoy. I've quit out of a few mediocre games, though I can barely remember the titles. Ty the Tiger was one.

Tadtones in Skyward Sword. Just dealing with the padding, combat and handholding got to me eventually.

^Skyward Sword is another one. I got sick of it right when it was time to leave the first fucking town. People will play anything with Zelda aesthetic plastered on, good god, what a wreck.

Same. I don't know if it's burnout, or a desire to not complete the game, but I almost always end up stopping before the final dungeon in an RPG.

Nah, some last dungeons really are just too much tedium.

Try Breath of Fire 2's last dungeon...holy shit that's just a slugfest of getting your ass kicked. You lose your shaman forms too at low HP - which is GONNA happen.
