Only if you're thinking for the short term

Intel isn't really more expensive and its performance will hold up for much longer

why spend money on a cooler and network card? the cpu comes with one and you could have bought motherboards at that price range with wireless networking

Most stock AMD coolers aren't great for long term heavy use, or overclocking. Plus they can sometimes be noisy. Third party coolers almost always run quieter and cooler.

I skipped the aftermarket cooler and went with the stock. Wraith Spire looks fantastic and it runs quietly. Plus I'm not overclocking at all so it'll do fine.

Not bad bang for your buck.

I agree with the poster that suggested going with an Intel CPU. They really are the best. Even their mid-tier processors are extremely powerful and efficient.

After looking at the specs on your MOBO, it was a pretty good choice given the processor.

Personal preference but if your computer lives in your bedroom I would get an opaque case if you want to be able to sleep at night.
