Its a job Ive essentially been doing for a couple years now but have always been passed up for officially for various reasons. Got promised the position this time. Have been going extra hard doing the duties of said job. Have expenses coming up that I planned specifically around the holidays (but not planned around promised promotion), when I typically have a TON of hours... only now, Im barely getting hours at all, while higher ups installed someone into the position I am supposed to have on the premise that she is there for when they fire our assistant manager (which has been brewing a while. It is becoming apparent that will not be happening. I am working 3 days a week during a time when I usually work 6. The person who was handed a job is extremely unprofessional, indignant, and generally bad at her job; I spend most of my time making note of and then fixing her wide array of messes, and I am fairly certain she has been told directly by our DM that nobody in our store can tell her what to do, as she is unwilling to work with anyone at or below her level and outright ignores those above her. I am fairly certain she was given a job because she has dirt on one of the scandals within the company. The other kid at that level is a toxic little shit who gossips, sabotages, and spends more time flirting with other employees than doing his job.

As it stands, not only can I not afford the me things I had planned, I cant even afford my fucking car anymore.

My life is not fucking good right now man
