Current Events > Got Planescape Torment/Icewind Dale on Switch. What should I play first?

I'm not exactly great at sitting down on a PC to actually play games on it so i wanted to see how these would play on console, plus I'm not gonna be consistently near my PC in a few weeks whereas I'll have my Switch on me.

They're totally different games. Planescape: Torment is by far the better game, but it's much more character driven and story/exploration based than Icewind Dale, which was more hack and slash and Diablo-esque. So it really depends on what you're looking for.

is it too late to get a refund?

Planescape. I just started it today on pc and I'm loving it, tried it as a young teenager but didn't make it out of the first building you start in. Never heard much about Icewind Dale.

I didn't know they're on the switch. How are the controls?

Planescape is the best-written game of all time.

Play it high INT/WIS and maybe CHA.

That opens up so much.

IWD is a great dungeon crawler.

Icewind Dale is pretty much a pure dungeon crawler DnD adventure. Planescape is for when you want to sit down and really get immersed in a story and dialogue and whatnot.

Icewind Dale would be a quicker playthrough.
