In 2015, out of the 452 seats (298 seats were Pro Beijing, 126 seats were Pro-Democrat).

In 2019, out of the 452 seats (385 seats were Pro Democrat, 59 seats were Pro Beijing).

A record 4.1 million people had registered to vote - more than half the population - and more than 1,000 candidates ran for 452 electable seats.

Candidates sympathetic to the pro-democracy cause won a total of 347 seats and according to local media, now control 17 of the 18 councils.

Beijing and the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) still upset with Hong Kong.

The CCP will find ways to tell the Hong Kong people that they are wrong and that they need to be re-educated like the Ugyhurs or continually be beaten by the CCP controlled police.

Beijing will not accept disobedience without punishment.
