22 y/o Megan Heidgerd, a DRUNK NURSE fell 40 FEET from a 4th floor apartment window in Florida and down to a CONCRETE PATIO..and SURVIVED!!

She was party hardying by drinking vodka and whiskey before she plummeted from the bedroom window while trying to open it and landed on the concrete ground

She was lucky to have survived without major injury as she broke her right foot and knee and sliced open left leg and had head injuries with 20 stitches

The Connecticut born girl blamed the fall on mixing her prescribed PROZAC medication with alcohol and thought she was going to die as she hit the ground.

Megan said "I was trying to grab the building as i was falling. I hit the concrete with my head and didn't black out right away. I thought i was going to die. I said to myself, This is it"

She took Prozac 2 weeks before the accident after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ironically didn't take the advice of the medication to not drink but at the time she said "i know you're not supposed to mix meds with alcohol but i didn't really care"

So she drank vodka like a sailor that night while partying with the girls at 830pm and she remembered downing so many alcohol bottles..but then it switched from vodka to Fireball, a cinnamon flavoured whiskey

She remembers fighting with the girls over what music to play and when offered the fireball, that's when she tried opening the window to get some air and fell to the ground.

On her way down, her leg caught on a wooden fence which paramedics said saved her life because it broke her fall

After blacking out, she was a Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola and had just got done surgery

She's lucky to not have any serious head injuries and she can't walk for awhile as her leg is in a cast and is in a wheelchair.

Megan has sworn off alcohol FOREVER and said "I'm done drinking. It's not worth it. I'm quitting forever. Don't drink if you are taking antidepressants. it's not like normal drinking. It really messes with your judgement"

ummm... alcohol aside, you do not take anti-depressants if you are bipolar. This has been known for a few decades. I'm not gonna say she deserves to win a lawsuit considering her dumb behavior, but at the same time, if she was diagnosed with bipolar and prescribed an anti-depressant, her psychiatrist probably should be sued tbh. Anti-depressants to to a bipolar person is a big fucking no-no... and this kind of shit is exactly why.

Very lucky to be alive. I've seen some people with multi-story falls....most of the time they end up debilitated, paraplegic, and bed bound for the rest of their life. Ive even seen a quadriplegic who was bed bound.

If she is walking she should consider herself super lucky
