USB 2.0 max bitrate: 60 MBps
4k bitrate: 35-45 Mbps USB 3.0 max bitrate: 640 MBps You are probably limited by whatever flash drive you are using. Just because it's USB 3.0 doesn't mean the flash storage read speed is high. Your average SSD read speed is 540 Mbps. That doesn't come close to the max speed for USB 3.0. It could also be any various problem with your TV, their focus in development is probably not making sure users can play 4k videos from thumb drives. You can either buy a better USB (and see if that works), copy the file over to your smart TV's local storage (will probably work), or play it over the internet (will probably work). I recommend setting up a Plex media server. Much cleaner. If you don't want to do that, try saving your videos as different formats. Your TV might have an easier time playing mp4 files over... some other format. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
