Current Events > WTF is wrong with Steam on my PC?

I have Windows 10 running Steam and I get these two problems constantly.

- Steam will decide to not launch anymore. Have to reboot to fix.

- Games will decide to not launch anymore. Have to reboot to fix.

What's the deal here? Google searches seem to indicate a common problem but with many different answers and opinions.

Terminating steam bootstraper and reopening steam alwayz works for me.

Does it stuck in the little black bar "launching game"?

If so it is usually cloud sync issue . Sometimes steam have bug (that i know of) that it is syncing your saves currently but dont show any syncing symbol on the library, so you cannot open the game because ypu cant open games till everything is syncing. This dont only apply to the game you are opening fyi. Any game that is currently syncing save will affect it.

If I force terminate the process and try again the little updating steam progress bar will pop up for a second or two and then disappear. Nothing else will happen.
