If it was i never woulda disagreed. Yes it was. People who put dogs on the same level of people/on a pedestal are exactly who that post is talking about. It is extremely antisocial and illustrates a lack of empathy to ONLY like dogs. Especially given how dogs are indeed crafted to unconditionally love us... the point is being unable to handle other living beings that dont worship you like a dog would. Not even that all dogs are like that necessarily, but if you think about it that is part of what makes them lovable is their unconditional love for their owners. Only being able to love something that obeys and is literally crafted to please you is... well... concerning. Sorry. Fuck, I dont even hate dogs. Dogs are loyal, grateful, and way less likely than people to put their shit off onto others. That makes them better in my book.
