Im a fan, hes amazing, but the last couple years or so have been downhill and to the point where I didnt renew my Sirius subscription. He started making everything political and his old ways are definitely done with. But hes damn near 70 now and times have changed.

But damn do I miss old Stern

I'm sure back in the 80s when Howard started getting huge he was more fun to listen to, but in my lifetime at least he seems very full of himself and kinda deflated.

I was, back when I was a kid and the internet just didn't make everything quite so open and known yet. Now there's not much point, I can watch a woman get live eels funneled into her ass while I listen to the New Jersey Watch podcast, there's no shock to jock anymore. Still, I credit him as a pioneer.

When they came to Sirius it was balls to the walls. No more censorship and it was phenomenal. The guests, the prank calls, the pranks in general, the special guests, it was all great. Then times started changing and Howard being the the type of person he is, has almost become offended over anything and everything.

He has the same guests now. Its all just political and nonsense talk. Ronnie the limo driver was so damn good but thats all been cut in half. When the country started getting offended at everything is about when the show turned to crap.

He recently released a book that was all about the guests, took him years and years to do and told everyone how great and informative the book was going to be ..... it was fucking pages of just the complete interview typed out and it wasnt any good guests. It was a joke. Just like the show has become.

I don't know it's been a long time since I've listened. From what I remember he didn't understand nerd culture at all (conventions, etc.) which tbf is a bit ridiculous. But he seemed to make fun of nerds a lot IIRC which I think are a low hanging fruit.

I stopped listening to him earlier this year. A video leaked where he had this meeting with his staff, and he pretty much was asking them to make fake twitter accounts and send "fan mail" to various celebrities to get them on his show. I skimmed through it and he was just a total asshole the entire way through. That soured me a lot, but I kept listening until there was one morning where he went to some exclusive U2 concert, and he kept trying to get JD to admit that he was jealous that he had a boss that would be able to go to something like that. After that, it just made me realize how much he shits ALL over his staff members. In particular, he has been absolutely awful to Richard. Richard enjoys the simple things in life and Howard is just a sissy little bitch that Richard enjoys his life and tries to bring him down when he would talk on air about things he had done recently.

I still keep SiriusXM around though for Jim and Sam, and The Luke Thomas Show (MMA show). There are a few others that I catch when I'm in the mood for talk radio stuff, like The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder, The Jason Ellis Show, and You Up? with Nikki Glaser

He doesnt get conventions, but he also doesnt like parades or Halloween or boats or really anything that involves people. And the way Howard is if you dont like or agree with what he does then youre wrong or weird. Hes always been like that and it used to be funny and cool but then it just got awful. Real awful.

Mick the nerd is fucking hilarious and had kind of become a regular in a way, he was pure gold.

used to love howard but then he went to satellite and I kinda lost track of him. I have Sirius now in my car and I catch his show on occasions. Seems to me he's mellowed out quite a bit and doesn't get nearly as riled up as he used to about current events. His interviews are still top notch with celebrities. He asks good questions and is very good at getting them to admit things you wouldn't nearly hear on any old talk show (their sex lives and whatnot).

The Wack Pack and the games he would have on the show will always be my favorite aspects of the show.

Beet and High Pitch Erik

One or two summers ago High Pitch Erik's lawyer set up a camera in High Pitch's shitty little apartment and he lived streamed his life 24/7. There are some clips and stuff on youtube still, but the accounts would constantly get banned because High Pitch would threaten people on the stream and stuff. His lawyer had remote access to his computer and stuff, and would constantly change his background to gay porn and stuff, and he would play animal noises over his speakers. The videos would call his one room apartment his "habitat," it was seriously hilarious to watch him sit and do nothing but eat and watch Blue Bloods. There was also a time where he was smoking weed in his room and the cops came
