Yup, pretty easy. Just holding in the interlock until it warms up enough to stay on its own. I hope it's in the basement or furnace cubby, I hate crawlspaces under the house.

It's a pilot light, not an elephant fart, it shouldn't be any scarier than a Bic. The pilot light is the safety that controls ignition of the actual dangerous shit once it's already lit.

Try looking to see if theres a YouTube video of someone lighting the same type of furnace or pilot light

I did that when I needed to light the water heater here and had never done it before, it ended up being really simple
