I don't think it's harder than dark souls, but it is different enough that you'll have to go through part of the learning curve again.

I've gotten through all the Dark Souls and soulslike games I've played without too many problems.

Sekiro, though...that one's fighting style is too different/difficult for me. Maybe I'll eventually go back to it.

This might be my GotY. Had fun playing it, and even my wife and kids had fun watching me play it.

I found this one a bit more difficult than the other dark souls games, some find it easier, probably depends on how good you are at the parry mechanic. I made it all the way to the final boss, but just decided it wasn't worth rinse and repeat on him since I had seen everything the game had to offer.

I don't feel like this one has as much replay value, but it is still a fun game.
