There really is no excuse for any Pokmon Let's Go 'mons not being in Sw/Sh either, that is just them holding back Pokmon on purpose at that point, none of that "it's too much work to keep up every gen" junk excuse anymore.

Separating a starter trio is unholy, and as a Blastoise fan for all these years, I feel that Charilard gets too much special treatment. Reminder that Japan thought Venusaur was a cooler Pokemon than Blastoise, which is why they have Green version instead of Blue.
