was out with some friends, my bagel came with jam

i asked the waiter for cream cheese instead and

he said "sorry, cream cheese costs $1.50 more"

so i gave him a dirty look

he then says "yeah sorry, it used to be free, but the manager is insisting we charge for that now"

so i continued to give him a dirty look

and he said "so....do you want to pay for it?"

and i agreed to pay for it

i was thinking there was a grocery store 2 blocks away and i can just go and buy the whole container of cream cheese for $1.50 and bring it back, or i can just take the bagel to go

but then i thought, CE would just tell me someone that makes as much money as i do would just pay for it, so i just paid for it

it was p good but damn what an overpay...

yea thats annoying, how tf you gonna sell a bagel but charge 1.50 for cream cheese, I understand like a quarter or 50 cents but....1.50? I'd be like, fuck the bagel, Ill just have a coffee no creamer and ill eat somewhere else

At some places the bagel itself doesn't even cost that much
