GameFAQs hating on Terminator 3 worse than the internet hates on Nickelback.

What was Terminator 3's great sin? That it wasn't Terminator 2? The third movie is perfectly serviceable. It's not great. But it's hardly a bad movie. It's not Terminator Salvation level bad. If nothing else you get to stare at Claire Danes for 2 hours.

It started the trend of unnecessary sequels. Claire Danes? I thought it was all about the T-X who was beautiful but her acting job was no more than an imitation of Robert Patrick's performance.

Nothing after t-2 exists. It's quite clear it was the perfect sequel if you could ever have one. Not even the original creator of the franchise could ever replicate it.

Terminator 3's sins are being a soulless cash grab and relying too much on goofy humor.

lol talk to the hand, lol he got his leather from a gay club, lol elton john glasses.

Other than that it's an alright action movie I guess. Certainly better than Genisys and Dark Fate blah

The first film is much better, which means that while it was a good sequel, it's far from perfect.

It was decent, but it has two flaws:

1) "Decent" isn't the adjective for the first two movies in the series. Those films were awesome. This is a total Godfather 3.

2) They killed Sara Connor off-screen. Why do movies always have to do that? Actors have their own lives and their own careers. Your little franchise isn't the be all, end all for them. You don't have to murder their character out of spite. That doesn't hurt the actor. It only hurts the audience who liked that character.

Well... in this case... it really kind of falls in line with the established continuity. It's never out righted stated that Sarah is gone by actual Judgement Day, but it's heavily implied. For John to step up into his hero role, Sarah has to go. You can't just have her floating around in the off screen background. Besides, given the ending of that movie, the audience probably wouldn't have appreciated it if Sarah's fate was left hanging. Did she die off screen in the nuclear fallout or not? The character needed some kind of closure if they were going with the apocalyptic ending.
