Blocking is a good idea in theory, but people are just going to find various ways to circumvent this (the most obvious being alts), and honestly the shitposting here hasn't slowed down at all since it was implemented.

Why would it? Blocked people can still post. You need to do some blocking of your own to see a decrease in shitposting (because it would be hidden from you).

If scotty keeps tagigng you just tell him not to, screenshot it and link the screenshot when he does it again in the othe rbox when you mark him and he'll learn to stop
