School should teach you how to adult instead of how to solve for x.
I got no clue how to adult but I sure as hell can figure out what x is in 7x = 4 + 27 X 8.

I could have lost a bunch of money playing semi pro tennis if I wanted to. Technically anybody can.

I played Jr.B hockey when I was 15-16. Played with Wojeck Wolski who plays in the NHL.

I technically competed in professional Muay Thai in Thailand. Have a 2-0 record (1 decision, 1 tko). My current gym in China wants me to eventually take a fight for them. Told them to give me a year. First time since in about 4 years that I'm back training seriously and I'm out of shape. If the next year goes well, I'll take a fight around November or December and then another one in Thailand in February 2021.

Track & field/cross country. Running anything basically. Ran a 4:45/mile and 29.05/200m in high school so that made me varsity.

Going to community college really fucked me because there wasn't any sort of running program, I often think about where I would be now if I didn't have those 2 years of leisurely runs, especially at that age. By the time I got into a 4 year, I needed varsity numbers to be on any sort of team as a 3rd year student but my record was blank for two years.

Other, boxing. I was a semi-pro boxer for a few years and made some decent money at it, but to be remotely clear even at my best and even if they had boxing rankings that went that low, I doubt I ever would've cracked the top 100 in my weight class.

I also played D-III football for a few years, but I think that's a few more leaps away from professionalism.

It's ironic that I loved to play football (soccer) and tennis to bits but I'm very average at tennis and considered bad at football.

But I played golf at my local golf club when I was a kid and I won several junior tournaments and got a most improved player at the club on the first year I started.

But I only enjoyed it with the band of kids I played with at the time. I have no interest in playing golf now even though I seem to be pretty good at it.

I was also the fastest short distance sprinter of my year in secondary school and the longest triple jumper. But I live in rural Britain and being the best at those things out of 200 so people doesn't mean anything.
