But in all seriousness that was a good review by IGN and pretty much what I expected from the game. Probably going to pick it up at some point because the positives are cool enough to outweigh the negatives even if they are glaring.

It seems to very seriously be a love it or hate it game. The game rewards the player for sticking through with it.

I love the idea of it, like putting yourself in The Road kind of. Im just afraid it will all feel too same-y.

I like the little stuff though. All your items being represented visually on your body is something Ive dreamed about forever.

Except the reward here is just more running through zones instead of fighting some of the most fun bosses in gaming.

Im not poo-pooing the game, Ill still get it at some point, but the gameplay doesnt sound too fun to me. I do appreciate little aspects like the inventory and even the arduous walking controls sound cool to me but I could see them getting old quickly.
