Every done this? If so, why? Did you have trouble finding another job?

I did it once because I was completely miserable and I hated going into work everyday. The final straw was when I brought up clear ethics violations to HR and having them tell me "It is what it is." I found another job almost immediately.

Horrible idea.
Just keep doing the bare minimum and spend your spare time hunting. Even cutting your work attention back by half will still keep you receiving full salary, whereas quitting outright (cutting 100% work attention) will also cut your salary by 100%. No reason to stop making money until they fire you or your get a new gig. --- My knee hurts ... Copied to Clipboard!
