Now that the first call of the umpire doesn't mater everywhere else, MLB definitely needs a robot strikezone. I'm sure I was against replay when it was first introduced, and it does ruin some moments, but it is 100% good for the game. the zone has been wildly inconsistent on both sides all series

I'm wondering why this isn't already a thing. If they can have a digital display of where the strike zone is and the call is undeniably wrong, why not just do it?

i'm for it. i'm for robot referees in all sports tbh. it's not part of the game to try to sneakily cheat, so why do we even want that to be a possibility.
