I personally think the prequel trilogy should have started around this time in the timeline. First episode shows the beginning of the war, second a turning point in the middle, third the end of the war.

A huge problem imo is that it's very unclear the extent/nature/impact from just the start and the end of it.

As far as we know in canon Jango wears their armor but is not one of them. Could be handwaved by saying the Mandalorian who claimed that was lying, but as it stands now neither are.

Episode 2 and the last one in the new saga were the only movies I literally fell asleep through and didn't enjoy in some regard or another

Not only is AotC the worse thing to come from Star Wars, but it's probably one of the worst things to from the genre in general. However, I can't dismiss it since it layed the ground work for some of the best stuff in the franchise.

PT is pretty awful, but it's crazy how what it's brought in terms of world building/lore, OST, games, shows, etc has since gone unmatched.
