I watched the whole thing, that was legitimately better than I thought it would be. It got a few laughs out of me and some of the jokes were clever. For that being your first time, I think it's something you could pursue because it was pretty damn good. Your body language showed your nerves for sure though, a little more confidence and you could be well on your way.

That was pretty good! A tip I saw some comedian say, might have been Bill Burr on his podcast, was don't ever talk about it being your first time or being nervous. The crowd doesn't care, it doesnt add anything to the set, and it puts more focus on your body language. Other than that you're funny bro.

I remember well the absolute bowel loosening fear of waiting to go on in a packed club, listening to the act before you finishing up and just going over your opening line over and over in your head!

It varies from area to area but in general most clubs want you to be able to start on a five nowadays.

I been performing at the Bier Baron Comedy Tavern every monday and just kinda showing up to other shows every other night hoping to get on. Im really close to getting on at Drafthouse Comedy on the weekends, Fridays and Saturdays. And yeah I live in DC right now

Yeah it took me several times on stage in Miami to build this 5 minutes lol. But now that I'm in a new city it's nice to know that I have 5 minutes of killer stuff i can use if I'm ever booked for something. I have like 5 minutes of other material that has been doing good as well. I feel very good about this city so far

He's the host and The Shuffle is a bit different than standard open mics. At this open mic it's ok for them to interrupt you or give their feedback on your jokes mid bit. Which was different than what I'm used to but I just said fuck it and rolled with the punches lol. It's supposed to make you better which I can see

Nice feedback. Getting comfortable on stage has been the most difficult thing to master tbh
