He adopted many of Trump's policies including Anti-Immigration, Pro-Life and Rejecting Climate Change policies..but in a country like Canada that is heavily progressive, hence "progressive-conservative", it was a failed strategy to steal conservative votes away and to appeal to the left or independents. Many media pundits now say the party is officially DEAD after this election as they cannot recover with no money nor candidates after he lost his seat in the legislature.
