Should the United States pass a constitutional amendment to replace the office of the President with the office of King? The King would serve for life, and as the sovereign, would be completely immune from indictment or impeachment at a federal level or by any of the states. The common law offense of seditious libel would be brought back - and remember, truth is not a defense to a charge of seditious libel. The King would have a complete veto on any bill passed by Congress - no supermajority could override a refusal to grant Royal Assent.

Upon the death or abdication of a King, a new Electoral College would be elected, which would then elect a new King or Queen. It would not necessarily be hereditary, although the age limit would be abolished.
