Nah I wasn't digging Anna and Blue Snow's voices. I usually prefer dubs, but the subs just sounded better to me in this anime.

It means the dubs are fucking hilarious. In one of the earlier episodes of DxD, when Issei (mc) tries to teleport and fails he just stands there and says, "the fuck?" (yes, he actually said that) You're not gonna get the same feeling hearing it in Japanese.

Well I watched all of it.

I liked it, but it ended in a weird way. The pacing of all the episodes was kinda weird too. Basically 2/3 of the show was getting members for SOX and then 3 episodes fighting a big bad out of nowhere, then 1 episode just goofing off with a treasure hunt to end it. Nothing really got resolved either. Anna is still hungry for Okuma's sausage with no development with that situation, Okuma and Ayame may or may not be an item idk, and the world is still the same strict way. It had a lot of potential but it just didn't stick the landing. It wasn't as strong as Prison School iirc. That's still my favorite pervy anime >_>

But Ayame is definitely a top tier waifu for me. I want to spread pornography with her all over town all day and then make gentle love to her while she gets embarrassed looking at a dick irl, then we make dirty jokes together afterwards all night long until the sun rises.

Oh good, you finished it. I didnt want to sour your view on it but yeah I didnt really like Shimoneta at all. The premise is a good social commentary but they dont really make good use of it, most of it is just rather unfunny pervert jokes and as you said the pacing is really weird. Also, its silly that even with a show focused on sexuality the Sox characters are still inexperienced and easily bashful as if theyre a generic harem character. Both the lead characters were meh to me.
The saving grace is definitely Annas antics although her never getting any comeuppance is also kind of souring.
I wouldve liked to see where it went from there but unfortunately Annas VA (who was brilliant) passed away and I dont think the LNs were that popular after so its probably not getting a sequel.

I started dabbling in the manga a bit. It's pretty short, so I might as well read the whole thing and see how it ends since the anime only covers half of it.

The only difference I see so far is that Ayame's boobs are definitely smaller in the manga >__> But that's okay, she's still Neon's top tier waifu in all of nipponland
