The 3 "drugs dealers" are also charged with Capital Murder. Basically in Texas, that's good for life in prison /the death penalty.
That's the other thing I'd like someone that believes in the cop angle to explain, I'm curious to know exactly what they believe the 3 suspects are getting in exchange for doing all of this? Cause right now its looking like all they are going to be getting is serious jail time.

I believe the police report in question because it lines up with that the attorney said about him and the fact that he thought he was the target of a failed murder earlier before this case. If the police had reported this and this new report, I would completely understand the skepticism, but this information comes from a reputable source who would have no reason to slander his name.

People will not be afraid for their life unless they have a reason to be afraid for their life which meant he had enemies. The simplest reason why someone would have enemies willing to kill them is because of drugs/money, at least, living in Chicago that's what I would think if someone said that to me.

While there was a possibility that it was the police, the possibility was remote. It's also not like we have a TON of examples of cops being punished in the first place, and even fewer examples of cops retaliating against witness with murder in recent years. It simply wouldn't be particularly rational for them to do so, nor would it fit recent cop behavior.

I have also heard that a drug dealer would never step foot in a court to testify. Wouldn't it actually be smart to do that? So the courts think you are an upstanding civilian who is willing to do the right thing and nothing to hide? But I think we know that the kid was the definition of not smart now.

Lol this case is so god damn crazy. The Guyger/Botham thing was already fucking wild, so tack on a murder mystery/another police conspiracy at the end and we got a stew goin' baby!

Eh, maybe he did the right thing despite the fact that it wasn't smart and he knew it.

Brown made it clear that he had no interest in testifying in Guygers trial, Merritt told CNN. Brown had been shot in November 2018, just three months after Jean was killed, in an unsolved case, and Merritt said Brown was concerned that that person might try to come back and finish the job.

Merritt tweeted on Tuesday that officials had been aware of Browns reservations, but threatened him with jail time if he refused to testify.

That makes sense.

Wait so the police threatened him into testifying...and then killed him for testifying?

Not sure if your memory is terrible or you're full of shit, but I've never said that. The archive site is available if you want to prove me wrong. But I'm guessing we both know you'll make a snarky excuse and this debate will end right here.

"I won't back up my claims against others, but please back your claims up against me."

what sort of privilege is this? where you get to burden others with providing evidence while being exempt from it yourself?

I wonder what other type of dysfunction goes on in this guy's head, lmao

That's how the internet in general works. You can back up your claims, but people will just state their opinion that you're wrong and expect you to accept it without them giving any reasons or evidence for why they think what they think. People don't like to think, they just like to believe that they are right and roll with whatever pops into their head.

Anyways, it does seem strange that the police would have Joshua testify in court, only to then kill him for it. Perhaps this really is just the strangest, most coincidental case ever, but lets see what happens with the trial and suspects.

Keep in mind, to the people saying that the police investigated themselves. This was what the lawyer that represented Jean's family said about Brown.

It's not really that hard to believe that someone who is afraid for his life was complicated in shady shit. It IS hard to believe that the state would force someone to tesitfy and then kill him for testifying knowing full well it would look like they did it AND wouldn't change the outcome of the case one bit.
