that's mob rule the founders warned against. it's why they built so many safeguards into the legal system (some of which are ignored to this day)

telling random chinese worker to go home and punching him

so you tell me, glorious comrade, why else would Honk Kong protestors be telling china to fuck off? why else would Hong Kong be demanding freedom, democracy, and independence?

oh, and please stop trying to appeal to my emotions. it won't work.

Yeah I'm sure those Chinese Hong Kong citizens have always been racist toward their fellow Chinese citizens in China. You are a great example of how the word racist has lost so much of it's meaning.

People have lived in that area since the stone age. It being called Hong Kong goes back around 1,500 years ago. They have "always" seen themselves as British? They've "always" been racist? lmao

The irony of you using the word ignorance, learn to use the right words.

From what you said they see themselves as a higher class than the peasants in the mainland. They are the same race, that isn't racist.

This is really fucked up dude. Why do you do shit like this? Why is this what 'fun' is for you? Like I can't believe the group of posters that enjoys posting like this. Is it literally, literally just because it bothers the empathetic posters?

It could be that, it could also be that they are literally brainwashed into being the guard dogs of their masters. Dictators always end up gaining the support of rabid, frothing-at-the-mouth bootlickers. Its what gets them into power and helps them stay there. Not that unreasonable to believe a few of them found their way to gfaqs.

hong kong has been independent for quite a long time but now the chinese government wants to take over and remove all the rights of all the citizens there. the hong kong protestors are fighting for their basic human rights.

this is one of those events with two sides. The right side and the wrong side. The right side is with the protestors. There is no grey area.

The footage shown in this, and that protester's speech at the end. Go Hong Kong! Fight for your liberty!

Okay, I just watched that video and wow. It's kinda eye opening... What we take for granted here and how we use it for dumbshit things (looking at you vagina suit) and how the people of Hong Kong are fighting for those freedoms. Is there nothing that can be done about this? They are literally shooting innocent people in the back. Like, no joke... That cop in the opening of the vid shot a protester as he was running away.

If we sent troops over there, it would be war with china, and that's a losing fight for everyone. Probably end in literal Fallout game world for real.

If you want to go all the way to the beginning of the protest the tl;Dr version was that a Hong Kong couple went overseas to Taiwan and killed his girlfriend there. He was sent back to HK but he didn't get convicted for murder. Carrie Lam, the CEO of HK, wanted to close the loophole for extradition because for a long time Mainlanders and Taiwan have no extradition agreement with HK. That was what everyone became mad about and as of now they have been protesting for months.. The Chinese government has not truly intervened yet except for a select few cases where there were suspected "protestors" that were Mainlanders in disguise.

The whole thing is more complicated than that but that is the gist of it.

Wait, they're rioting because they want to be able to catch a ride elsewhere, commit a crime, run back home and be scott-free?

TF?
