The best onion rings win out, but they are very variable in tasting good from place to place. So I feel it's more a safe bet to just get the fries.

Fries. I can eat some onion rings, but I generally avoid them because I don't like onions. Certain ways of making them though can dull the flavor enough for me to handle though.
