If you like 30 hours into the game, then there really isn't much for you to hate about it. In my opinion, it stopped being a grand experience about 5-7 hours into the game because you're basically doing the same thing over and over again. It never evolves or does anything new. With that said, I still enjoyed it for what it's worth.

Jogging the streets and listening to Loveline on YouTube is a big chunk of that

Interesting. I wish I could find peace in that in video games. I get close wondering around RDR2 at times but it still doesn't necessarily feel therapeutic.

Honestly I got more joy out of it than I did from 10-2 through 13 and its various sequels. The last chapters where it becomes more on rails is the weaker bits for me. But I finished it twice so I guess I liked it.

Took me about 30 hours to realize I didnt like it as much

Then the Leviathan fight happened, which was one of the most disappointing setpieces I've ever been through

Then the train stuff happened, and it was cool but not enough

Then the last chapters were awful and my changed opinion to it's a bad game, and worst ff.

And that was with the updates at the price of 20 bucks

If I payed for the vanilla version at full price I'd be livid

pretty much. the game is on rails from there on out, but in a good way.so just enjoy it. Pretty cool ending i thought

From what I understand the game is good in it's current state. Remember we live in the era where games are updated and improved after they are released. Buying or playing a game later could mean playing a much better version then the one people played on day one.

Yes Final Fantasy XV is one of those games.
