He opened fire on 37 y/o Christopher Bergan after he knocked on his door at around 11:30pm where he hid in the bushes and waited for Dennis to open the door before jumping out and yelling HAPPY BIRTHDAY..and right at that moment he was SHOT in the chest killing him instantly!! Police WILL NOT charge Dennis and called it a "horrible accident" as Sheriff Bob Johnson said Bergan was married to Dennis' daughter who is still in Norway and was recently told of the news Dennis was unaware of Bergan arriving to visit them as his daughter never gave them the heads up He turned on the porch light to see who was outside WHILE HOLDING A GUN and aimed it around before Bergan made "funny noises" and jumped out to yell happy birthday before shot Johnson admitted that one of his other relatives did the same thing to him before and got into a beef with who told that relative to leave because it scared him. Bergan was married to his daughter who lived in Florida before moving to his native Norway and have one child together. Friends made a tribute to Bergan who blame american's obsession with guns as the reason for his death and ot teach their kids that guns are tools and not toys. Police are asking anyone who believes in faith to pray for the family and what they're going through as this tragic event has TORN them apart.. Dailymail tried to make contact with the daughter but she is not speaking to the press OR HER FAMILY. Do you think it's strange someone brings a GUN to answer the door?
