This was such a fantastic fucking movie. It's like they mashed up the best parts of American Psycho, Fight Club, Monster, and Batman all into a single movie and somehow still made it work.

I read in an interview he wanted his comedies to feel real unlike all the other comedy movies you see where its always bright and fun

I mean, I'm not sure "real" is how I would describe his films. They still lean more in the "over the top fun" category. Even when they're not very good overall, he still makes them look extravagant enough.

No. There was an early leak that Joker's first murder was a girl rejecting him.

It turns out he killed her just because he's a violent psychopath and she never interacted with him outside of one elevator ride (everything else was in his head)

She also wasn't even his first murder

I was thinking that the black girl was gonna be Harley Quinn in a later movie, but I guess not. It would have been cool to see a black Harley Quinn with big puffy pigtails...puffy like all the clown wigs. She's pretty hot too. She already had some kind of paint on her face in Deadpool 2. I think people might have adjusted to it well.

I really like Harley Quinn but I'm glad she wasn't in the movie. She's already way overexposed in the comics and it looks like Birds of Prey isn't really a Birds of Prey movie, but a Harley Quinn movie featuring Birds of Prey.
