Of course you don't. We've been over this a million times with you.

You won't admit it's racist because you agree with it, and you have literally used "I also think/say that and I'm not racist therefore it's not racist" as a defense before.

Your opinion on anything is less than worthless.

I mean, they didn't discipline her because they believed it wasn't racist (and they likely do think it was) but because she gave her own opinion on it which the BBC tends to try to stay away in being objective.

Still silly to do more than advise her not to do when acting as a host.

Furious staff have pointed out that the complaints unit is dominated by older white men who may not understand the true impact of Trumps words.

Lmao basically "We have a bunch of ignorant stupid old fucks that might throw a tantrum so cut it out"

"go back to your country" is an objectively racist thing to say tho

I don't disagree it is myself, but the BBC is meant to avoid speaking with personal thoughts on things like this and simply report "widely condemned as racist"

I still think she didn't need a reprimand over it and just a polite speaking to on the guidelines when on the air.

I don't agree with that kind of perception on those countries. We shouldn't call other countries shitholes. But calling them shitholes is not racist just because they are mostly populated with non white people. We should not a set that precedent where we cannot criticize something just because there is correlation with certain races of people.

Well that's a good thing then the actual racist statement we're addressing is "Go back home" directed at 4 minority women.

I only added in the "shithole countries" comment for posterity. Given is other comments and his history there's no reason to believe he didn't use the phrase in a racist context.

Calling racist statements racist is reporting.

No, there's nothing in that which has anything to do with reporting. And folks actually WANT this from their reporters than sensible news is fucked. Would rather they just report the news and let us decide how to feel about it. Instead it's reporters suggesting how you should feel about it and the mindless sheep falling in line. Suggestive thought and all that. Never healthy but too many people just look to media to tell them how to think so it happens everywhere.

And it's racist in the eye of the beholder. Many, many, many people have been told to "go home" and it had nothing to do with race.

Folks just choose to declare it as racist since they don't like Trump poking fun at them on Twitter and will twist anything to make him look bad. Mindless hate makes the mind do wacky things.
