Finished with the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 collection in my quest to replay all the games before I play Kingdom Hearts III. From my understanding this one was most grindy of the KH platinums and boy did it sure feel like it. I already played this game to completion on GBA and PS2 so this was my 3rd time through. This might have been the first time where I cheesed my way through with Sora? I made a Blizzaga deck for normal encounters and a Firaga deck for bosses and even on Proud mode 95% of them went down very quickly. Both of those decks were useless for Castle Oblivion though and I had to make a warp/Megaflare deck to get through encounters quickly

Platinum requirements were pretty much finishing the game on Proud Mode, getting to level 99 with both Sora and Riku and completing Jiminy's Journal with both of them which is mostly filled out automatically other than collecting all the cards. You need to grind out all the enemy cards with Sora as well as get various boss cards and keyblade cards that you can only get as completion bonuses and from save data transfer from 258/2 Days and then with Riku you need to hope you get the Random Joker card which only has a 0.7% chance to drop on Proud Mode. I ended up getting it when he was level 92 so cutting it close. There were some other one's worth mentioning like never running from battle and never getting a game over which wasn't too bad on Proud with Sora.

The actual grind to 99 is the longest part of the game because exp is slow once you hit level 70 or so and you just need to fight battle after battle in the final areas until you reach it. Final times ended up being about 31 hours for Sora's game and 20 hours for Riku's game.

This ends the point of KH games I've replayed multiple times and starting with KH2 we'll be getting to the ones I only did single playthroughs of back when they first came out.

I should mention I manipulated RNG to save me probably 20 hours getting the enemy cards. It was actually extremely easy!
