Resident Evil 7, Blood and Truth, Astrobot Rescue Mission, Blood and Truth are all some of my favorite games from this generation. There's a whole lot of fun games on the thing already. I think Sony did a pretty good job and blew past my expectations considering how they handled the Vita.

The exciting thing too is that it's this good despite the flaws in the hardware. Once they improve the tracking system these games will get even better and they'll be able to get out some even better stuff.

The amount of free experiences on the thing is pretty crazy too.

Yeah, I agree. I got one during Black Friday last year and it was pretty great. Astro Bot is my favorite game on it, and the main one I have actually played. I haven't tried the rest of the ones you mentioned, but I do love Space Pirate Trainer, and watching stuff on Hulu in the little fancy apartment makes me feel special. Plus if you plug it into your cable box you can watch cable on it.

In general vr gets a bad rap, most people have just tried the shitty phone vr or the Go. The psvr is pretty close to the full thing, but it is a little bit annoying not being able to turn around. I got the Quest a couple months ago, and it does blow the psvr out of the water in terms of immersion and getting to walk through the entire room untethered. But there aren't all the full games the psvr has. But if your pc is strong enough you can play pcvr on it too.

Yeah there are definite downsides to the system (why don't the Move controllers have thumbsticks?) but the stuff that is there is so fun. If the PSVR 2 has a camera in the headset itself and is wireless it'll be a huge improvement. Hopefully BC is handled great and PSVR 2 will start off with a great library off the bat.

It's good shit. I've only scratched the surface with it, but I've got a pretty impressive line up of games to go through.

Oh, is that only one PSVR? I looked on the Quest store and it wasn't there. I guess it is time to plug the PS4 back in.

I'm pretty sure it's on PC VR too. Sony has like a VR division that makes movie tie-ins that aren't PlayStation exclusive. Don't know if they do any Quest games though.

I've only played a small number of VR games, but Astrobot is a blast and I really need to go back and finish it sometime.
