Full Throttle 09/18/19 9:17:28 PM #1:	Do you think gay conversion therapy is a farce/scam? - Results (10 votes) Yes 70% (7 votes) 7 No 30% (3 votes) 3 23 y/o Sean Cormie was AMBUSHED by FIFTEEN people at an Oklahoma Church when they DOG PILED him and held him down and PUNCHED him as they tried to PRAY his GAY away..and his MOM and GRANDMA were apart of the conversion!! He went to Church at the First Assembly of God Church in Blackwell with his partner, Gary Gardner as he went to the service because his family urged him to attend church ever since he came out gay last spring. He said "I wanted to go to church and make my mom proud" The service proceeded normally but at the end, the pastor started to preach against homosexuality and a group of congregants CIRCLED him and his partner and began praying over them He said they were quoting "It's a sin, it's an abomination, you need to realize, wake up, and see it for as a sin" The felt overwhelmed and humiliated and tried to walk out but that's when they grabbed him and held him down from leaving and JUMPED on him so he wouldn't break free He said "I was so embarrassed. I felt about 2 inches tall when they started allthis" Sean said his grandmother drove his partner out of the church while Cormie was held down He wrote on his FB "They hold me down, pin me down, and i'm crying and the holy spirit just comes through me and they keep speaking in tongues, praying over me" Sean was also PUNCHED in the face and was given a black eye as they pinned him down as he kept begging for mercy He wrote the horror moment on his FB as the people were loud praying and crying and asking God to pray his gay away as his sister was the only one who stood up for him He said his MOTHER and GRANDMOTHER were APART of this ambush and believes his family lured him there for this Sean reported it to police right away as he couldn't believe a church of all places would show hate and not love Bill and Tami McKissick, the pastors released a statement and claim it began as a family matter and it escalated and don't condone what any person does but says there's much more to the incident are fully cooperating with law enforcement Sean says he knew the pastors and feel betrayed by their use of force and doesn't believe homosexuality is a sin.
